Friday Gems: Bando emits star-level energy on “Hellcat”

Published

on

The Dodge Hellcat is more than just an expensive car. Its rarity makes it a symbol of uniqueness, a showing of status in the world. Owning one is reserved for the elite. Its raw, primal energy would make it the perfect subject for a rap song looking to exude some serious energy.

Well, Bando has done just that. “Hellcat” is an energetic SoundCloud gem that’s so chaotic that you’ll find yourself jumping up and down, even if you’re driving. In fact, only play it in the car. You’ll get the full breadth of the experience that way.

The accompanying video, however, is distinctly of Earth’s crowned jewel species, humanity. The way that the camera frequently winds and rolls gives you the same kind of rolling feeling as being atop a ship in stormy waters. You’ll get seasick, but at least it sounds good.
