Payroll Giovanni reinvigorated the streets along with Cardo on Big Bossin Vol. 1 and Big Bossin Vol. 2 – now he’s embarked on a solo mission to exact his own brand of street panache. Enter 4-1P, a self-produced album that further establishes him as not only one of Detroit’s best, but in the game as well. It clocks in at 12-tracks, the Goldilocks length for the modern album. It features appearances from Bonus, Ybs Skola, HBK, Eastside Jody, B-Maine, Sweet Lou, Big Quis, Clay Baby, Hoggy D, Chaz Bling and Dre Armani.

Robb Bank$ ‘Cloverfield 3’ Is Essential Listening
Robb Bank$ new project Cloverfield 3 is finally out. After a year long wait, the EP is now available for the public to consume. At only eight tracks, and a lean 23 minutes, Cloverfield 3 is a concise outing for Bank$ to explore his artistry in ways that he has yet to. Featuring appearances from Oogie, Mane WOD and Nuri, and Cris Dinero, Bank$ largely keeps the work to himself as a means of showcasing what he has to make it to the next level. The album’s the second of the year from him, with Molly World having been released earlier this year to little noise.
On the project, Bank$ continues to showcase his excellent means of creating wildly different music. No two songs sound the same; there’s the autotuned harmonizing of “Minute,” then there’s the bombastic, eclectic bliss of follow-up “Project 8,” and things get even weirder from there. Bank$ makes a case for himself as one of the game’s hidden talents that seldom gets the respect that he deserves.
If you want to hear one of the year’s most interesting projects, check out Cloverfield 3.
@Billionare_B releases new project ‘Billionaire’
Detroit heavyweight Billionaire B has released his new project Billionaire. The luxe rapper’s been quipping about his exotic livelihood for awhile now, with it becoming one of his signature capabilities. Billionaire furthers this sentiment, with vibrant rhymes of luxurious living that escape modern trappings for something timeless and necessary. With only eleven tracks (nine full songs, two interludes), its concise nature will surely contribute to its replayability factor. That, and the fact that it only has four features. This is B’s journey and his alone.

Friday Gems: @KALEBMITCHELL releases new project ‘MITCHELL’
New Jersey rap mainstay Kaleb Mitchell is someone that gets rap. He knows that it’s about the quality of the music more than the aesthetic itself – he embodies both with equal force. His new project MITCHELL is immensely personal, powerfully-rapped, and reeking of quality that’s rare outside of the industry. He covers how it feels to operate in the faux circles that comprise the industry itself as well as delves into personal territory, and, in all actuality, it sounds damn good.
