Cash Kidd and Kash Doll team up on “Head Start”

Published

on

Cash Kidd’s latest is a pugnacious banger featuring the more than capable talents of Kash Doll. The duo speak in sexually-charged bravado, counting their racks while letting the world know of their grandiose achievements. Cash Kidd’s never sounded better; Kash Doll’s never looked better. Not to say that her verse isn’t the stuff of legend; every single time she steps into the booth, she absolutely dismantles it in her wake. But here, the blonde in her hair clashes with her tone so perfectly. The pair make a dangerous duo that could do some serious damage if they released a joint project, but I digress.

Akhil Sesh’s latest visual is “Lil Thouwow” and if there’s one word to describe it, it’s definitely “wow.” That’s a good one by the way, often because the word gets misconstrued in this context. In the visual for the song smoother than usual song, Akhil Sesh loads on copious amounts of special effects that showcase a drive to be eclectic. It works, too.

Watch Corin Gabriella’s exciting new video for “Brooklyn.” It has a very grassroots feel to the way that it’s shot and the frantic, energetic viewpoints that it uses to portray the city’s angst. Corin is a rising R & B stalwart out of the city with a soulful sound that cuts through much of the more atmospheric muddling that exists in contemporary soul culture. With a fresh, funky twist, her latest will give you something to remember.
