@BigSean Should Perform These Ten Songs On His ‘Unfriendly Reminder’ Tour

Published

on

The news is out. Big Sean is embarking on a new tour with Playboi Carti, Gashi, and Shy Glizzy. Tickets have already gone on sale and the world is preparing to see what the Detroit superstar has in store for Unfriendly Reminder. But this time, there’s a twist: fans get to pick the setlist of songs for him to perform. There’s so much material for Sean to cover, that when he usually goes through the same songs over and over, we get agitated. Here’s what Sean had to say on Twitter about his choice.

It’s nice to see that he’s committed to pleasing longtime fans looking for the hungrier, rawer Sean of old. His new releases have been good, but none have come close to the early 2010s Sean, the one that would cry on stage at disbelief of where he’d managed to get to.

With that being said, we’re going to give Sean ten songs that’ll send fans on a nostalgic trip as well as showcase his talents that were in high-demand (and still are).

@PhilthyRichFOD will make his video game soundtrack debut on NBA Live 19

Published

If there’s anyone that deserves the magnanimous amount of good fortune that comes their way, it’s Philthy Rich. He’s been in the game a long time and never ages away from his core fanbase. He continues to be a perennial force in rap music itself, so it’s great news to hear that his music will be featured in NBA Live 19 when it releases later this year. The song in question is “Teamwork” that features Derez Deshon (“Hardaway”) and Phresher. If the song sounds familiar, it’s because it played in the trailer for the game as well.

Here’s to getting a copy of NBA Live 19 and supporting one of hip-hop’s greatest.

@ImAsianDoll is the First Lady of Gucci Mane’s 1017 Eskimo Records

Published

on

It’s been a long, harsh journey for Asian Doll. She started as nothing more than a pretty face with hardcore raps, dominating the Texas rap scene. Over the years, she evolved into a peculiar beast, someone that is as whimsical as Nicki Minaj, yet as straight-edged as MC Lyte, with a decidedly darker subject matter. Those years have paid off now. Gucci Mane announced on June 13 that he’d officially signed Asian Doll to his esteemed record label 1017 Eskimo Records.

Asian Doll responded with sheer joy at the announcement, eager to continue to build the empire that she’s already in the midst of creating.

Seeing where she goes with Gucci Mane will be breathtaking to behold.
