Bay Area Spotlight: @lilunowolfpack Keeps It 100 In “Speak Up”

Published

on

Lil Uno is back with another snappy hit, the sparky “Speak Up.” The Bay Area- rapper specializes in an assortment of flows as well as the ability to craft a catchy chorus. Both of these abilities will grant him tremendous success as he continues to climb up the latter of importance. On here especially, Uno shows a penchant for crafting very interesting and often amusing bars. Through long, detailed descriptions, he shows his ability to tell a story and then drop it, only to pick up a new, more interesting thread. The quick production compliments his abilities and gives the whole package a zippy feel.

Over the harsh beat, the two women spit venomous verses about their come-up that are so fierce that you’ll want to run them back immediately when they’re done. Both have their own ways of flexing: Pretty Yung Bih makes her words a little lighter and delicate while Blu’s bruising vocals are like haymakers.
