A Look Back at 4ShoMag’s Humble Beginnings

The year’s 2011. After working on the 4ShoMag brand and becoming ingrained in Detroit, Joseph McFashion created the YouTube channel that would go on to become one of the most important artistic havens for the city. The early days featured an enormous amount of quality content that’s since been expanded upon. For instance, you could find behind the scenes videos of the movie Concrete with in-depth information about the innards of the film, there was interviews with artists like Big Sean and his journey to meet Kanye West, and there was also editorial videos about a plethora of interesting topics. And, of course, if you were there for the ladies, you could find everything from twerk to strip club videos. It was the city’s one-stop shop for anyone in the know.
Over the years, the 4ShoMag YouTube channel has become immensely important. Today’s post is dedicated to some of our earliest videos. Take a look at what we have locked away in the channel. You never know exactly what you’ll find.
