As we draw closer to the release date of his new project Sacrifices, Snap Dogg has decided to reveal more music from the heavily-anticipated body of work. He premiered “Trick Them Off The Streets” last night, and its open and raw nature go a ways in humanizing the hardened rapper, familiar with death and violence. The somber, yet energetic production from legendary producer Helluva fits the personal song down to a tee, with the most telling line being “I won’t let em Tupac me, Mama.” Throughout the tune, Snap Dogg embraces his relationship with Death; it’s an equal, not a feared adversary.
If “Trick Them Off The Streets” is an indicator of Snap Dogg’s upcoming body of work, it’s that this will be a personal record that shows us the full breadth of Snap’s abilities. We can’t wait to see what other surprises are in store when it comes out on May 25.

@omegathepoet ‘s new release “Anywhere You Want to Go” is a relaxing must-listen
Sometimes, you just want to kick back and take it easy. Much of today’s music is about the exact opposite, instead focusing on the turn-up and the ensuing moshpit that comes with it. Omega The Poet’s newest release, “Anywhere You Want to Go” is a smooth trip into neo-soul nostalgia that brings about an element seldom seen in this contemporary age. It’s a strong, solid showing for the South Carolina native.
