2-G shows off his plentiful rap skills in “2Much”

If you’re looking for a straight-forward, tenacious banger, 2-G’s “2Much” is the track for you. This Detroit stalwart’s words ring true, with his swaggerful raps that capture his larger-than-personality. In the video, 2-G shows off his gold-teeth smile and flexes in ways that involve a giant pickup truck. While he’s not in a mansion showering women with money, it’s cool because he doesn’t need it. The idea of the video is to be barebones enough for 2-G’s skills and aesthetic to speak for themselves. Judging by how good the song and video are, I’d assume that he was right.

Lynn, Mass. collective, KMF (Keep Moving Forward) debuts another of their flagship artists today in the form of Jay Moon’s kickoff visual, “Who Do You Call” to coincide with the launch of their new website.
You could almost describe this song as pandemic music, speaking as it does to the burden of loneliness. Recorded at Quad NYC, where the guys practically reside, the track is carried by an infectious guitar line, punctuated with commanding 808s. Vibe check – reflective. Ride to it solo, or with a friend. Head nodding guaranteed.
